Filming and editing the footage
My group used the Black Magic Ursa Mini Pro 4K camera accompanied with a macro lens. The macro lens focused between 0 and 100mm, allowing us to get intricate shots at several close angles.
For lighting, we used a white LED/ flourescent bar light in a black box media studio. As we only used 1 light, we were able to light specific parts of our set and obtain interesting shots. We used a group member to hold or move the light during shots to open shots from blackout to light.
Sennheiser shotgun mic to record diegetic sounds on the day such as footsteps, opening drawers and opening jars.
We documented some of our day by taking photos on our mobile phones.We took photos of us designing the set as well as setting up shots and holding the light.
We used the Black Magic design 12G SDI Monitor to see our camera angles on the day of filming and watch the shot as a group.
